AllAffiliatePro is installed, Great! But what do you do now?

Now that you have your affiliate software installed you can configure the program to your desires and prepare it for launch. You probably already have a good idea of what you want your affiliate program to be like in your head, now you need to configure the program so that it is running the way you want. Here we provide a quick guide to getting your affiliate program operational. The later sections describe in more detail how to setup the individual features.

Step 1.

First you want to login to the AllAffiliatePro management area. This is located at:-

The default username is 'admin' with default password 'adminpass'. This is where you will configure and administer your entire affiliate program. The AllAffiliatePro management area is described in more detail in the next section.

Step 2.

Now select the 'Configuration Wizard'. This page will guide you through all the basic configuration option. Some of these you will have setup at installation. Complete the form and save the information.

Step 3.

Now select the 'Template Wizard'. This wizard sets up all the affiliate templates, allowing you to quickly and easily change the appearance of your affiliate program to your affiliates. This wizard will also setup basic affiliate sites pages for you, including index page, join and login pages, and terms and conditions. Once done these pages can be found at:-

This is the URL you promote to signup new affiliates to your program. Your ability to change the affiliate pages is not limited to this wizard. You can edit all the templates as standard HTML pages, and change them to whatever look and feel you so choose. This is described later in the 'Advanced Templates' section.

Step 4.

Your affiliate program is now ready to be tested and used. You can signup as an affiliate, login to your stats, and download banners (if you have installed the LinkCodeGenerator). The affiliate program will now be tracking all clicks that your affiliates send. If you are setting up a commission, flat per sale, or recurring commission program you must first integrate AllAffiliatePro with your order system before it will track affiliate sales. Details on doing this are in the section 'Integration'.
